Your suggested route
The times below are suggested allowances, not live opening hours or transport schedules. Adjust the order for your arrival time, bookings and conditions.
Start · Milsons Point and the harbour
Arrive at Milsons Point station and walk downhill to Bradfield Park. Give yourself 30–45 minutes for the view beneath the Harbour Bridge and photographs across to the Opera House. This is a good place to understand the harbour’s shape before heading into the smaller bays.
Late morning · Luna Park to Lavender Bay
Follow the waterfront past Luna Park towards Lavender Bay. The park’s entrance is a photo stop; rides are a separate paid activity. Continue at a leisurely pace, looking for the small sculptures and yacht views rather than hurrying straight to the garden.
Midday · Wendy’s Secret Garden
Allow 45–60 minutes to explore Wendy’s Secret Garden. The appeal is its winding paths, planting and places to sit, so put the camera away for part of the visit. There are slopes and steps; use the official accessibility information to decide whether the garden or the flatter foreshore suits your group.
Finish · Kirribilli lunch
Return towards Milsons Point and choose lunch around Kirribilli village. If you still have time, add a short walk to the eastern side of the bridge for a different Opera House angle. Finish at the station rather than committing to another cross-city journey.
