Your suggested route
The times below are suggested allowances, not live opening hours or transport schedules. Adjust the order for your arrival time, bookings and conditions.
09:00 · Breakfast at The Grounds
Book breakfast or brunch at The Grounds of Alexandria and give the meal 60–90 minutes. Check that you have selected the Alexandria venue: The Grounds also has other Sydney locations. A table booking is a better anchor than arriving hungry and hoping a busy weekend queue will move quickly.
10:30 · Garden spaces and details
After eating, explore the publicly accessible garden and venue areas at a relaxed pace. Look for planting, coffee details and small compositions instead of trying to photograph every installation. Seasonal displays change, and event or dining areas may have separate access conditions.
11:30 · Coffee or a neighbourhood extension
Choose a final coffee or pastry, then decide whether you want more of the inner south. A short trip to South Eveleigh can add a different café and public-space setting; it is an optional extension, not another branch to rush through immediately after brunch.
Early afternoon · Finish while it still feels leisurely
Leave after the meal and stroll if that already feels complete. If you want more walking, continue with a separately planned inner-city neighbourhood visit. The appeal here is a carefully paced food-and-photo morning, not filling a whole day with industrial streets.
