Your suggested route
The times below are suggested allowances, not live opening hours or transport schedules. Adjust the order for your arrival time, bookings and conditions.
Early morning · Noosa breakfast
Begin around Hastings Street with breakfast and water for the walk. Noosa is the recommended base for the broad Sunshine Coast tag; this is not a route through the whole region. Starting early gives you more flexibility around heat and parking.
Morning · Coastal track
Enter Noosa National Park and follow the signed coastal route. Choose Tea Tree Bay for a shorter outing or continue towards Hell’s Gates if the track is open and your group wants a longer walk. Allow two to three hours for a relaxed return outing with stops, adjusting to your actual turnaround point.
Lunch · Hastings Street
Return for lunch and a proper break. Avoid adding a distant hinterland stop just because the walking finishes early. The main beach and town are enough to fill a relaxed afternoon.
Afternoon and evening · Noosa River
If you want a change of setting, travel to Noosaville for a riverfront stroll and early dinner. Otherwise remain at Main Beach for a patrolled swim or time on the sand. Choose one setting and enjoy it rather than spending the afternoon in traffic between both.
