Your suggested route
The times below are suggested allowances, not live opening hours or transport schedules. Adjust the order for your arrival time, bookings and conditions.
Morning · Greenfield Beach
Start at Greenfield Beach picnic area and give yourself 30 minutes on the beach before walking. The quiet combination of pale sand, clear water and coastal forest is the point of the visit; there is no need to begin with a long drive between beaches.
Late morning · White Sands and Scribbly Gum
Follow the signed White Sands walk and Scribbly Gum track loop when open. Allow 90 minutes with photo stops for the approximately 2.5-kilometre circuit. The forest return gives a different experience from retracing every beachside step; use the park map rather than following an informal shoreline shortcut.
Lunch · Vincentia or a picnic
Return to the picnic area for food you brought, or head into Vincentia for lunch. Take a proper break before choosing more beach time. Swimming is optional and depends on current conditions; a sheltered-looking photograph is not a reliable guide to water safety.
Afternoon · Huskisson waterfront
Finish with a waterfront walk and café in Huskisson. If a dolphin or whale cruise is your priority, book that as the afternoon’s main activity and shorten the morning walk. Sightings, sea conditions and seasonal availability should never be assumed.
