Your suggested route

The times below are suggested allowances, not live opening hours or transport schedules. Adjust the order for your arrival time, bookings and conditions.

  1. Early morning · Mỹ Khê

Begin with a beach walk and breakfast near Mỹ Khê. Allow an hour for the waterfront before the day becomes hot. Swim only where current conditions and local guidance permit; the beach is also enjoyable simply as a place to walk and watch the morning activity.

  2. Late morning · Sơn Trà and Linh Ứng

Arrange a car visit to Linh Ứng on Sơn Trà, checking current road access. Allow 90 minutes for the religious site and coastal outlook. Keep the route to permitted roads rather than extending into restricted forest tracks in search of wildlife.

  3. Lunch and afternoon · Cham sculpture

Return for mì Quảng or another local lunch, then choose the Museum of Cham Sculpture for a cultural contrast. Allow 90 minutes to two hours. This creates a balanced coast-and-city day without adding another demanding outdoor climb.

  4. Evening · Hàn River

Walk near the Hàn River and Dragon Bridge, then have dinner nearby. Check the actual schedule if you want to see a bridge performance; do not assume one occurs every evening. Leave time for an easy return to your accommodation.

Where to pause for food

Have breakfast near the beach, mì Quảng for lunch if interested and a seated city or seafood dinner. Ask prices for seafood sold by weight. An indoor lunch break helps avoid doing the whole itinerary in the midday heat.

Getting around

Use an arranged car or taxi for Sơn Trà and the museum, then walk the evening riverfront. Confirm the permitted vehicle route. Hoi An, Bà Nà Hills and the Hải Vân Pass are separate outings, not additions to this single day.

For a shorter day or different weather

Replace Sơn Trà with Marble Mountains if you prefer caves and temples, after checking steps and current access. Do not try to include both alongside the museum in a relaxed day. In poor weather, extend the museum and café time.

Before you go

Check museum hours, peninsula access, beach conditions and any bridge-performance schedule. Wildlife sightings are not promised. Keep the coastal visit conditional on actual conditions rather than a fixed sunrise-to-sunset checklist.
