Your suggested route
The times below are suggested allowances, not live opening hours or transport schedules. Adjust the order for your arrival time, bookings and conditions.
09:00 · Wat Phra Singh
Start in the Old City with breakfast followed by Wat Phra Singh. Allow an hour for the temple grounds and details. This route follows the Chiang Mai named in the post’s caption; it does not offer directions to the ambiguous Lahan Kosong location tag.
11:00 · Old City lanes and Wat Chedi Luang
Walk through the Old City at a comfortable pace and visit Wat Chedi Luang. Allow another 60–90 minutes including the approach. Two temples are enough for a thoughtful introduction, leaving space for street life and a café instead of temple fatigue.
13:00 · Northern Thai lunch
Choose a khao soi lunch and take a longer break during the hottest hours. Ask about spice and ingredients rather than assuming every version is the same. Browse a small craft or design shop afterwards if it is open.
Late afternoon and evening · River or market
Choose a riverfront walk and dinner, or a walking market if one operates on your particular day. Keep the evening in one district. Do not plan a Sunday market for an arbitrary weekday or add a mountain excursion after a full city day.
